Oregon Walks is partnering with Causa, The Bus Project, APANO, CIO and Basic Rights Oregon to host one MASSIVE canvass to make sure our neighbors have heard the good word on the Safe Roads Campaign. Measure 88 will be on the ballot this November, and all Oregonians will have the opportunity to vote YES on this important measure to allow all Oregon Residents to have a pathway to obtain a Drivers Card, whether or not they are citizens. This is an important piece of progressive immigration rights that will allow all Oregon families to get their children to school, get themselves to their jobs, and will also make the roads safer by ensuring all folks operating automobiles on Oregon's streets have properly taken driver's tests at their local DMV.

Oregon Walks is proud to partner with these and other organizations in support of the Safe Roads Campaign; kick off your Walktober with a door knock for progressive immigration rights!
