Notes: Behind the bleachers
By: Posted by Elaine, Sharon Fekety is the contactAARP volunteer, Don Baack, will lead the walk celebrating the reopening of the Iowa Street Trail after being closed for four years due to construction. It will be four miles with 480 feet gain. Meet at Wilson High School, walk down the trail under the Barbur Bridge where there will be a short ribbon cutting ceremony. The design of the trail was modified to create an additional spur trail that provides unobstructed views of Mt. Hood. It will proceed down to WIllamette Park, south to Trail 4, coming up the stairs on Custer to Fulton Park and back to Wilson High School.
Bring a snack and water and dress for the weather. Well behaved, leashed dogs are allowed.
